PLANIFICAN PROCESO DE RECUPERACIÓN DE ÁREA AFECTADA POR INCENDIOS FORESTALES

El Gobernador Departamental de San Marcos, Lic. Rolando López Crisóstomo, en su calidad de coordinador de la Comisión Departamental de Ambiente, Recursos Naturales y Cambio Climático, lidera un plan de recuperación ambiental de áreas afectadas por incendios forestales.

“Es una primera reunión con la preocupación de generar un plan de recuperación del área afectada de 976 hectáreas en varios municipios del departamento de San Marcos, ya que nos preocupa porque todo es correlativo, especialmente la naturaleza, el agua y la vida humana. Esperamos que a través de la coordinación interinstitucional podamos reforestar el área dañada”, explicó el Gobernador Departamental.
Entre las acciones que se suman a este plan de recuperación está el Programa Sembrando Huella, del Instituto Nacional de Bosques, que realizará jornadas de sensibilización y reforestación a partir del mes de junio y otras el 22 de mayo en el marco del día del agua.
